Hashfame’s Child Safety and Ethical Standards
Note: The minimum age to create, use, or manage an account on the Hashfame app is 18 years.
Hashfame (app/platform) is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and positive online environment for all users. Though it is mandatory for all users or participants of the app to be above the age of 18 years, these Standards are published in the event of any eventuality of involvement of a child under the age of 18 years. These Child Safety and Ethical Standards (Standards) establish the principles and obligations that govern instances which may concern a child in order to ensure a secure and age-appropriate experience, in full compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
These standards apply to all users of Hashfame, including registered members, visitors, content creators, service providers, and platform administrators. These standards align with the obligations placed on intermediaries under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, particularly with respect to child protection, content moderation, and data privacy.
